Prior to these roles, he was a part of Jotun Group in various management roles and has a good exposure towards merger and acquisitions.

A trained physician with a specialty in Public Health, Dr. Vishwanath has been actively involved in the areas of Chest Medicine, Psychiatry, and Emergency Care over the years. A recognized mentor for the Public Health students at the University of California, Berkeley, his Research has been on women�s health and lifestyle disorders. Dr Vishwanath has also been recognized as an International Leader in Health by the Department of State, US. The city of Dallas, Texas has honoured Dr Vishwanath with Honorary Citizenship in recognition of his efforts in Public Health. His scientific standing among peers and expertise in varied aspects of project management is currently guiding the Athachi Group in its endeavours.

A Chartered Financial Planner, he has built a formidable reputation for his expertise in Tax Planning, Insurance Planning, Retirement Planning, Education Planning, and Estate Planning.
Adding to his repertoire of skills, Shanker is also a Certified Research Analyst, bringing a wealth of professional expertise in Equity Research to the table. His ability to navigate the intricacies of the financial markets has enabled him to effectively manage an Asset Under Holding (AUH) portfolio exceeding a staggering Rs 200 crores.
Shanker's commitment to financial literacy extends beyond his professional engagements. He has actively participated in numerous workshops, representing prestigious institutions such as NSDL, NSE, and AMFI, where he has conducted several investor awareness programs.
